Figures show Britain's inflation rate has stabilised

The UK CPI (Consumer Price Index) for August remained unchanged, at 3.1 percent, figures released by the ONS (Office for National Statistics) show. The rate is above the 2 percent target issued by the Bank of England and contrasts greatly with the last 3 months when the inflation rate had been steadily falling.
