Deep Reforms Needed

Addressing the struggle of political forces and leaders in the UK to tackle social and public problems, the informative news agency Reuters generalizes the UK problem as one of social incompatibility. According to the media, the problems in the UK are not caused by deprived public circles - poor people exist in Russia, Germany, Finland and so on, but none of these countries has ever faced such a devastating riot during the last decade.

Politicians need to reconsider a significant part of the existing social order laws. These include the rules on self-defense, the softness of the policing laws, the directions in which law enforcement services can stretch peace preserving techniques. Such considerations have already been made in the UK parliament and special committees are working on developing a massive plan to tackle the problems. Nevertheless, the British public is finally expressing its unhappiness with the situation - thousands of people have signed petitions, have expressed concerns and have demonstrated their disagreement on huge banners rejecting the political leadership of the country when it comes to social stability.

Reuters also indicates that seeking advice from a top New York cop (after the British required support from US experienced bodies on how to handle such situations) is demotivating over society - Britain needs no experience advice, it needs tougher laws. This view has been generating over the web, the social media, the media service providers for weeks. Addressing it would definitely spare some of the problems for the British society - people in the country are tired of living in a place where laws and total freedom and unaccountability mix with the lives of ordinary citizens.
