Is the UK No Longer a powerful country

Many people believe that Britain has dropped down the list of the world’s most powerful country. This is mainly due to its change from a country of high morality to a country of desperation. So is this a true fact or just a false accusation?

The first case in point is crime, which is on the increase in Britain with gun crime rising 4% in London alone. Glasgow has one of the highest numbers of murders in Europe. This is similar to those in the US where bearing arms is legal. So far there has not been any explanation about this increase from the government or any other institutions. This change in behaviour cannot be accounted for and strong action needs to be taken by the authorities if Britain is to be portrayed as a friendly and compassionate country like it was before.

Britain also has problems with the MP’s who were elected by the people to serve them. They seem to have forgotten that they owe a duty to the people to serve the county and are instead focusing on their own personal gains. People have lost faith and trust in them and MP’s are now desperately trying to save themselves from extermination using extreme measures.

Britain however seems to be moving forward. The Archbishop has called for part of Shariah law to be incorporated within the British legal system, this off course may not be a perfect solution but at least there is something on the table that you can be work with. It is a good sign to see a religious person leading the way by suggesting a solution through a different religion. This shows that Britain is realising the underlying issues in society. There’s a long way to go yet, but they are heading in the right direction.

I think I have a solution everyone will agree upon for what we should put together for Jayne’s birthday bash. Who would be up for a surprise trip and spending a bit of money on a italy ski trip?
